Camel is one of the most important transport means for traditional bedouin in Wadi Rum desert. It is also fascinating animal with a unique character. Camels are often referred to “the Ships of the Desert” and they are the best way to immerse yourself into the old way of bedouin life. The pace & atmosphere of travelling by Camel is very different from travelling by Jeep. If you really look for the nature then you can explore Wadi Rum on camel. Within day or more in one of the most beautiful spots on planet Earth, where you can enjoy sleeping under the stars or stay in a bedouin camp where you will learn about the local culture, food and history of this region. Half day camel ride is a perfect attraction for your stay in Wadi Rum.
After we depart Rum village we will ride camels to Khazali canyon by the beautiful valley of Wadi Rum. Here you can see ancient inscriptions, the waterhole and Islamic drawings. Also old writings, which date back thousands of years are visible on the walls. You will ride your camels to red sand dune, which you can climb and enjoy the view up there before running down. After we get up on our camels and ride them to Lawrence spring where we will take a break. It is possible to climb to the natural spring and enjoy the spectacular view of Wadi Rum desert. Then a short ride will take us to Wadi Rum village to end our half day camel ride there.
